IGOR M. ALVES
Newark-raised Igor M. Alves is an entrepreneur, media and film producer, and marketing and business strategist. Alves is Co-Founder, CEO and Managing Producer at DreamPlay Media, an award-winning creative media company. Alves led media and partnerships at the 2010 Census – NY Region, headed marketing at24horas Newspaper, and has worked at creative agencies in NY / NJ.
Igor has 15+years of non-profit leadership experience, including with the American Red Cross and NJ SEEDS. Alves holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science and a Masters of Science in Global Affairs and Economics from Rutgers University-Newark.
CARTER MANGAN JR.
Carter is music producer work for film, television, artist, live events and other media, including Showtime’s “Ray Donovan”, Oxygen Channel’s “Bad Girls Club”, “Bad Girls Need Love Too”, MTV’s “Real World”, “True Life”, “Catfish, “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” on E! and countless other shows, documentaries and films.

“Storm Norm Da General” attended the Arts Institute of Atlanta. Norman is an engineer, writer, producer & recording artist with records distributed worldwide. Norman created BKS1RADIO, an online radio station & webcast network to provide a platform for the best kept secrets to be heard.

Belinda Reid is the owner and operator of Mkuu Styling, a fashion/ lifestyle blog and the online boutique, Mkuu Sample. You can find mkuustyling.com online and at a pop-up shop near you in NY and NJ.
CINDY BIRCH
Founder and Director of The Short Film Awards, Cindy Birch is an award-winning writer, producer and director in TV, film and theater. Cindy holds a B.A. in Journalism/Mass Media and an M.B.A. from Rutgers University. She is a proud New Jersey native, born in Newark.
MALIK WHITAKER
Malik Whitaker is a Newark based painter and muralist whose work can be seen throughout Newark and the tri-state area. His work doing large scale murals and public art provides positive impacts in communities and neighborhoods He has worked with and developed workshops for young artists for the past five years.
He currently works in public schools and galleries where he facilitates his workshops and art lessons. Malik develops art programs specifically designed for inner city youth who have very limited exposure to professional artist and their resources.
MATT WILLIAMS
Matt Williams, a son of Newark NJ is the owner of Risen and I’m So Newark. Matt is dedicated to capturing images and telling positive stories about the local community.
RODNEY GILBERT
Rodney Gilbert is the CEO of Yendor Productions, a Newark-based firm that produces arts programming. Yendor presently oversees Arts Advantage higher education theatre partnership between NPS & Drew University. He is the Director of the Newark Murals Program where Yendor has created over 30 murals in the city. He’s a member of the Actors Equity Association, City of Newark’s LGBT Community, a Leadership Newark Fellow and Emerging Leader Victoria Foundation.

Sharon Easton has been with the Paterson Police Department for over 27 years. She attended the New York Film Academy (NYFA) and New York University (NYU) majoring in TV and film production.
