Newark Business Hub and Rutgers University entered into a partnershop to empower Black and Brown business owners.
Enterpreneurs will have access to the NBH online learning community, including live interaction between participants and coaches, according to a June 21 announcement.
“With over a century of professional and global workforce development experience, this vital partnership represents Rutgers Office of Continuing Professional Education’s latest commitment toward advancing the business skills and opportunities for people of color – established businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs,” said Kenneth Karamichael, assistant director of Rutgers Office of Continuing Professional Education.
Through this partnership, NBH, and OCPE aim to empower more than 1 million Black and Brown entrepreneurs globally by providing them with skills, mentorship and community.
NBH co-founder and Chief Curriculum Officer Jeff Billingsley said he believes the entrepreneurship certificate program will help in creation of wealth not just in Unites States, but also globally.
